My 5 year old son is recently diagnosed with ASD. We are from the same area as Stephen and also from a Caribbean background. He has been going to the Stephen Wiltshere centre since he was 3 years old. They call him a mini Stephen because he is so similar to you! He is such a good artist and clever beyond his years. I was scared at first but now I am excited to see where his journey will take him. Thank you for being our local hero Stephen. You have inspired us and the world and yours is a great story for my son to aspire to. Neurodivergence is really special, thank you for sharing your story and art. 🙏🏽

As an artist myself, I know how utterly ruthless the 'art industry' can be sometimes. Whether Stephen is 'autistic' or a 'Person Of Colour,' it doesn't matter, labelling is not important. Stephen is a human being and an incredible artist. I so hope that he is not being exploited for who he is, and not being treated like a money-making 'Circus Freak!!!' He is a wonderful person, a true artist, and a total inspiration to me. My admiration for him doesn't cost a single penny, but means so much to me. Thank you, Stephen ❤

His vocabulary has come on in leaps and bounds considering a heavy impairment due to his autism from his early years when his only words to his teachers were "Pen" "Paper" those words were the keys that unlocked his world, Stephen is remarkable

This is insane l have never seen a talent like this ur drawings a masterpice and ur memory of the city how u only seen it once and draw the whole city just make it even better this is insanity it blow my mind when i saw the picture u painted on the city

What a lovely guy. I have Autism also (wasn’t diagnosed until mid 20’s). Also share a passion for Art. I can paint landscapes from memory or I usually just make landscapes up in my head. It’s just nice to see some e with actual talent being given a chance regardless of disability etc. My Asperger’s hinders me getting my foot in the door in terms with Art related careers. So have had to settle with jobs that don’t interest me.
